The Group has previously undertaken a comprehensive carbon audit with a view to identifying environmental impact mitigation opportunities
We have used the results of our carbon audit to highlight areas where we believe we can reduce the impact on the environment of our day to day activities and promote good environmental practices.
We have formulated an action plan based on advice received from the Carbon Trust andthe Energy Saving Trust which will be used to further develop our environmental programmes and policies.
We continue to endeavour to reduce emissions wherever possible.
Torrent Trackside are the experts in the design and installation of trackside and tunnel lighting. With safety being the main priority on track our lighting systems are designed and installed to ensure that poor visibility isn’t a contributory factor in accidents.
Our experienced Lighting Supervisors control the contract from start to finish, the process starts with a site walk which enables Torrent Trackside to design the best lighting solution for the site. All Torrent Trackside lighting installations are fully detailed in our Lighting Method Statement that is supplied to our customers prior to installation for sign off that we have understood their requirement and designed a solution that is compliant.
