Used for taking induction out of the overhead line equipment during maintenance work. DEPs come in either 1.5m or 1.7m and are orange in colour. Jumpers are coloured blue and are available in varying lengths over the standard 1.5 or 1.7m DEP’s. These items are subject to a 12 monthly external recalibration/ insulation check.
